Connection Wizard /Windows 95/98.. 

1. Click on Start.
2. Go up to Settings.
3. Point to Control Panel
4. Click on Internet Options
5. Click on the Connection TAB at the top
6. Click on the SETUP button. This will start the Internet Connection Wizard.
7. Select "I have an existing Internet account through my phone line or local area network (LAN). Click on Next.
8. Select "I want to set my connection up manually" (style varies with version)
9. Select "Connect using my phone line." Click on Next.
10. Select "Create a new dial-up connection." Click on Next.
11. In the Telephone Number field, enter 503 815-9283 if dialing from the Tillamook area. Otherwise enter 503 398-2840 if dialing from South Tillamook County. Portland: 503 488-3200 (check for other Portland numbers on our Roaming Access page) Uncheck "Dial using the area code and country code" unless you will be connecting to the Portland number. Click on Next. (Roaming page: http://www.waveis.com/support/roaming.htm )
12. In the User Name field, enter the User ID you selected when establishing your account. In the Password field, enter the password you selected for your account. Note: When the password is entered, it will display in asterisks (*) for security reasons. Click on Next.
13. Select "No" on the Advanced Settings screen. Click on Next.
14. Enter "The Wave!" in the Connection Name field. Click on Next.
15. Select "Yes" on the Set Up Your Internet Mail Account screen. Click on Next.
16. Select "Create a new Internet mail account." Click on Next.
17. Enter your name in the Display Name field. Click on Next.
18. Enter your e-mail address in the E-mail address field (johnsmith@oregoncoast.com)
19. Outgoing mail server's name: in.waveis.com (POP3 server).
20. The Incoming mail server's name is: out.waveis.com Click on Next.
21. Enter your User ID in the POP account name field. Enter your password in the Password field. Click on Next.
22. Click Finish, and you're done.
